Making Drone Data FAIR Through a Community-Developed Information Framework

Small Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (sUAS) are an increasingly common tool for data collection in many scientific fields. However, there few standards or best practices guiding the collection, sharing, publication of collected with these tools. This makes collaboration, quality control, and reproducibility challenging. To that end, we have used iterative rounds modeling user engagement to develop a Minimum Information Framework (MIF) guide sUAS users collecting metadata necessary ensure their is trust-worthy, shareable reusable. paper briefly outlines our methods MIF itself, which includes 74 terms four classes should consider any given study.
